Navigating the Wochit Studio Editor

After starting a new video, you will be taken into the Wochit Studio Editor. 

• Add a title to your video in the header on the upper left hand side of the Wochit Studio Editor
• To see video information, click on ‘Video Info’ in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

The Three Sections of the Studio Editor:

Your Lightbox, or collection of your selected media, is in the upper left hand corner; a real time preview of your video in the upper right hand corner; and the timeline editor is in the bottom half of the screen.

In the Lightbox, you have the option to search from our Media Library of over 200 million pre-licensed assets; search through My Uploads to access assets you have uploaded from your computer; Upload your own assets from your computer; and Add a Color Card on which you can add text and animation for a blank slate between assets.

Navigate to the music icon to add or change background music on your video. Read more about the Music Library here.  

Click ‘Add Transitions’ to choose between three different paces of transitions to apply between assets. 

To undo a change you have made on the Timeline, click the curved arrow icon. To reapply the change you made on the Timeline, click the opposite facing curved arrow icon. Note that you can undo all changes on the Timeline up until the last asset change. 

To expand and condense the Timeline, use the slider underneath the Preview. By expanding the Timeline, you can edit each asset with more precision. By condensing the Timeline, you can see the span of your entire video, allowing for easier rearrangement of assets.

Note: The Preview in the upper right hand corner of the screen may play your video in a slightly lagged manner. This is because the video has been processing additional changes made to the assets in the video. Don’t worry — once the video is produced, it will render in high resolution, with zero delay.
