Adding a Video from the Media Library

Enter the Media Library from the Studio Editor page later. There, click on the ‘Search Media’ button in the Lightbox to enter the Media Library.

Next Steps:

1. Search by keyword for the assets that you need using the search bar. Toggle the video icon to the left, under the search bar, to filter for video only.
2. Click on a clip that you like.
3. Drag left and right the blue in and out points on the timeline below the video. Play the video to preview the chosen segment and confirm it is the segment you intended.
4. Alternatively, use the scene detection arrow to advance ahead to each cut in the package.
5. When finished click ‘Add to Lightbox‘ or ‘Add & Create New’ to continue to add more clips from this video. You may add as many segments from one video clip as needed. There will be colored markers on the video timeline that designate segments you have already put in your Lightbox.
6. You can see the number of assets you have added to your Lightbox by looking at the upper right corner of the screen. There, a director’s clapboard should have the number of assets, in white, in a light green circle.
